Staying healthy is not an easy especially if you are working but there are several ways by using them we can stay fit and fine. Your habits, diet etc. very much affect your health.
By adopting good choices and lifestyle we not even stay healthy but also can also prevent our self from major diseases such as cancer, heart diseases, lung diseases and injury. First step to maintain your health is to give up all the bad habits like smoking, drinking or using tobacco.
Smoking is a very harmful habit that causes mouth, throat, lung cancer and heart diseases. Regular exercise, healthy diet, don’t drink alcohol and other drugs, manage stress are the few keys that you have to keep to yourself healthy.
Never skip your breakfast. A healthy breakfast provides many health benefits. People who take breakfast every day are much healthier and active. Drink at least eight glass of water a day. Fitness is a great way to experience health and fitness. By regular physical activity you will be healthier, less stressed and more relaxed.
Health screening is also important to staying healthy. It may help find diseases when they are easier to treat.

Dental care is the important part of oral health. We can prevent tooth decay and gum diseases by simply brushing, flossing properly along with regular dental checkups. MIGRAINE

Migraines are a form of chronic recurring headaches. It is caused by vasodilatation (enlargement of blood vessels) that causes the release of chemicals from nerve fibers that coil around the large arteries of the brain. Enlargement of these blood vessels stretches the nerves that coil around them and causes the nerves to release chemicals. The chemicals cause inflammation, pain, and further enlargement of the artery. The increasing enlargement of the arteries magnifies the pain.

Symptoms
The symptoms of a migraine may include:
➢ Pain on one or both sides of the head
➢ Feeling cold or sweating
➢ Nausea
➢ Vomiting
➢ Diarrhea
➢ Sensitivity to light, noise and odors
➢ Tiredness
➢ Confusion
➢ Nasal congestion
➢ Stiff or tender neck
➢ Changes in how a person sees, including blurred vision or blind spots, zigzags of light or light flashes
➢ Anxious or restlessness
➢ Lightheadedness
➢ Tender scalp
➢ Cold hands and feet
You may be able to sense when a migraine attack is about to start. Some people may get warning signs before they have a migraine. These are called auras. If you have an aura, you may see flashing lights, have ringing in your ears, feel numb in parts of your body or have trouble speaking.

Causes
Migraine triggers can include the following:
➢ Alcohol, especially beer and red wine
➢ Skipping meals
➢ Crying
➢ Certain odors, such as perfume or smoke
➢ Bright lights
➢ Loud noises
➢ Sleeping too little or too much
➢ Caffeine
➢ Smoking or exposure to tobacco smoke
➢ Some medications
➢ Heat, high humidity, and high altitude
Certain foods, such as aged cheeses, chocolate, nuts, peanut butter, some fruits, foods with monosodium glutamate (MSG), onions, dairy products, meats containing nitrates (bacon, hot dogs, salami, cured meats) fermented or pickled foods.
Hormonal changes that occur during the menstrual cycle or as a result of taking oral contraceptives, hormone replacement therapy, pregnancy and menopause can all affect the frequency and severity of migraines in some women. Migraines are more common in people with depression, and depression is more common in people who have migraines.

Treatment

Migraine headaches are usually diagnosed when the symptoms described above are present. Migraine generally begins in childhood to early adulthood. A family history usually is present, suggesting a genetic predisposition in migraine sufferers. The examination of individuals with migraine attacks usually is normal.

1. Treating migraine by your self – It’s best to rest in a quiet, darkened room – try to sleep if possible. Try applying a hot or cold compress, such as ice or a bag of frozen peas, wrapped in a towel, to your head. Don’t apply ice directly to your skin because you could damage your skin. Applying pressure to the pulse points on the side of your forehead or neck may also help.

2. Treating migraine by drugs – Treatments for migraine are generally more effective if you use them as soon as you know a migraine attack is coming on. Medicines for migraine aren’t suitable for everybody and can cause side-effects in some people. If you use any kind of painkiller for your migraine too frequently, it may become less effective and may cause medication-overuse headache.
